Vermont Archaeology Heritage Center Grand Opening
Join us for the Grand Opening of the new, permanent VT Archaeology Center and celebrate the historic partnership that joins the state’s archaeological resources with the resources of the Vermont History Center. Tour the new space and enjoy the inaugural exhibit, “How Do You Know That…?? Unraveling the Past Through Archaeology.” Flintknapper Charlie Paquin will demonstrate how Vermont’s native people made stone tools, and the recreated 3,000 year old Swanton Pot will be unveiled.
